Saturday Daily Deals: The Silence of the Lambs

Amazon’s selection of Kindle Daily Deals includes The Silence of the Lambs (Hannibal Lecter Book 2) by Thomas Harris.

Through October 9th, the Alexa-enabled Amazon Tap is available for $100.

This week, Prime members can save on Kindles. The basic Kindle is $50, The Paperwhite is $90 and the Voyage is $150 (now sold out until October 20, 2016).

The Echo is now available in white. There is also an  All-New Echo Dot (2nd Generation) which will be available in both black and white and retails for $49.99. The Dot is also being offering in a “Buy 5, get 1 free” six-pack and a ““Buy 10, get 2 free” twelve-pack”. The new Echo Dot will be released on October 20, 2016.

The Barnes and Noble Nook Daily Find is Superman: The High-Flying History of America’s Most Enduring Hero by Larry Tye. The Romance Daily Find is The Gamble (Colorado Mountain Series #1) by Kristen Ashley.

Barnes and Noble also has a selection of NOOK Books Under $2.99.

Kobo’s Daily Deal is Bared to You: A Crossfire Novel by Sylvia Day.  The Extra Daily Deal is A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka.

Also, a selection of titles called Romance On The Ice for $4.99 or Less until October Until October 31st.

There is also a selection of Great Reads Under $5 and Bargain Reads in Fiction, in Mystery and other genres. The Kobo Aura One (and the Aura Edition 2 e-readers are now available for order at the Kobo store. (The Aura One is out of stock until October 14, 2016.)

iTunes’ Weekly Bestsellers Under $4 includes The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson.

Google Books has a selection of Topsellers Under $10.

This usually means that titles can be found at a discount price across most platforms (with iTunes sometimes being the exception). Daily Deals: Digital Deals and Year-end Sales

Amazon is having a special for up to 70% off digital deals. It includes movies, books and apps. The books included are part of the Kindle Daily Deal that features over 25 award winning titles for up to 80% off. Titles include Thomas Harris’ The Silence of the Lambs ($2.99), The Caine Mutiny ( $3.99),  The English Patient ($1.99) and more.

Amazon is also having an 30% off accessory sale for devices that includes cables, chargers and some stunning cases and sleeves. I am tempted to get another case for my $50 fire – the look on these cases by Caseable are simply exquisite!

It is also the season for year-end clearance deals. There are product from all across Amazon (electronics, computers and fashion) and discounts range from 20 to 70 percent.

The Barnes and Noble Daily Find is also The Silence of the Lambs for $2.99, but the cover is different from the one on Amazon and the description says it is the 25th anniversary edition. The Romance Daily Find is Jackie Collins’ Lucky (the sequel to Chances) for $2.99. There is also a selection of top titles for up to 70% off.

Kobo Daily Deal is The Remedy for Love by Bill Roorbach for $1.99.
