Topics include: Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Office 2013, Office 365, Office 2010, SharePoint 2013, Dynamics CRM, PowerShell, Exchange Server, Lync 2013, System Center, Azure, Cloud, SQL Server and more. The books are in various formats: mostly PDFs but there are EPUB, MOBI and DOCX as well.
Fair warning: these downloads seem pretty popular. You may encounter a slow server.
Today only, there are 40 Kindle e-books from HarperCollins on sale for only $1.99 each. There’s a nice variety in the selections.
Included in the available titles are two of my personal childhood favorites: Alas, Babylon, a post-apocalyptic thriller by Pat Frank and Betty Smith’s poignant coming of age story, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. (And, yes, I had eclectic tastes!) Both of these books from the 1950s are now considered classics.

If you own an Amazon Fire TV, this may affect you: Geek Wire is reporting that a software bug in the mosaic screensaver can cause users to unknowingly exceed their broadband data caps. Amazon is working on a fix and suggests users turn off the mosiac view to avoid the problem.
