Hi there! Which one to get really depends on what you will be using it for. If you will be using it internationally, the Kindle Fire has only limited ability to work with anything but books – at least for the time being. Not having access to the Amazon app store would be tough, especially as sideloading on it is somewhat problematic. I mostly use mine for music, video and cookbooks. For everything else, I still use my e-ink Kindle. Personally, I wouldn’t give up any of my e-ink Kindles for only the Fire. 🙂
