Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 on sale today for 30% off

hdx_89Amazon has what looks to be the entire line of 8.9 HDX Fire tablets on sale today for 30% off. This is pretty amazing as these seem to be the current 2014 model. That means a you can get a flagship 8.9 HDX (Amazon’s iPad competitor), starting at only $299. Most of the other HDX tablets previously on sale were previous generation models.

The 4G LTE models (Verizon and A T & T) are included in the sale. This sale includes an unlocked GSM version of the 4G LTE model. Since T-Mobile offers 200MB a month of free tablet data to its customers, this was the model that I was looking for. 🙂 You can also buy an A T & T sim to go with the tablet for use on their network.

Kindle Fire HDX 4G half off today

Fire HDXThere’s a fantastic Gold Box deal on Amazon.com today for a new  Kindle Fire HDX 7″Wi-fi and 4G LTE – 50 percent off the regular price. The tablet is available in 16GB for $139 or  in the 64 GB configurations for $159.

PLEASE NOTE: The 4G connection works with either AT &T or Verizon. I have heard of these working with SIM cards from other companies. Check with your service provider to make sure that the device will work with your carrier. This is the previous generation (3rd) HDX and not the latest model. These are new and not refurbished.

Certified refurbished Kindles and Fire tablets sale

Kindle FireRight now, Amazon has Certified refurbished Kindles and Fire tablets on sale for 25% off. There are a variety of devices available. There are several Kindle e-ink Paperwhites in various 3G and Wi-fi, 1st and 2nd generation devices starting at $89.  There are also some good deals on previous generation Kindle Fires – these are the ones with the micro-HDMI connector that is no longer included on current models. There is even a 4G LTE model. All of the devices I saw had special offers, but Amazon will remove the offers for a fee.

All certified refurbished Kindles and Fire tablets come with a one year warranty. These are a great deal for someone looking for a value.

Over the years, I have bought several refurbished Kindles and Fires and they have performed beautifully. How about you? Would you buy a refurb?
